Concept Of Computer Hardware and Software !!
Hardware :computer hardware comprises of the physical components that a computer system requires to function.in simple words hardware are the parts which we can see , we can touch them , feel them. It encompasses everything with a circuit board that operator with in a personal computer or laptop; including the motherboard , graphic card , cpu (central processing unit ) ,ventilation fans , webcam ,power supply , so on.
Software : set of instructions given to the computer is known as a program. Program of setup programs is called as software. This help us to interact with the computer in order to perform a particular task. Software is a generic tum used to describe computer programs.
Categories of a software
Open Sorce Software : It refers to the software which releases code in the public domain for anyone to use.The source code can be copied , modified or distributed by other you just and organisations.As the software is open to the public the results that it constantly updates , improve and expand as more people can work on it improvement. Many countries are following sos s policies i.e. free open so software policy and it enabled damn to save some millions of dollars each year in listening cost.
Closed Source Software : It is opposite to open source software and means that the software is used by the proprietary and has a closed garden code. Only the original authors of organisation of a software can access , copy and alter that software. In case of closed source software , user has to purchase the software before using it.
Computer software can be classified into two times bass on utility :
Application Software : Application software is a program order group of program design for and users.Application software (called as and user programs ) includes programs like database programs, word processors, browser, presentation software, spreadsheet etc.
System Software : System software is just of instruction required for a computer to work. For example,latest operating system is a program that all different application and vedas components of a hardware such as monitor, printer, house, keyboard etc. to communicate with each other.
