Processor is like a chip which is a heart of the phone.How good your phone is depends upon the processor of your phone. If your processor is bad that means your phone is bad.

What are the task that processor perform in your phone? Every work you do in your phone depends upon the processor. The time taken by apps to open, multitasking ,your gaming performance ,etc.

What is Dual core, Quad core, Octa core ? To understand this you need to understand first know what is core ? Core is nothing but a processor unit it work like a processor .In this way in Dual core there are 2 core ,in Quad core there are 4 core and in Octa core there are 8 core. Means processor is divided into 2 ,4 and 8 parts respectively.

If a time to complete a job is 8 hours .Dual core will complete it within 4 hours because two processor are simultaneously workinin the same way of the Quad core works it will take 2 hours and Octa core will take 1 hour .

What is nano meter technology? In structure of a processor there lakhs and cores of transistors .The gate of transistors or size is measured in nano meter We usually see that the processor is 10 mm that means the size of the transistor is 10 mm .A latest A12 processor of  iPhone has 7 mm transistor size and SD 845 is based on 10 mm technology .The  small the size of the transistor  the high the working speed of that processor.
